NPR: Pentagon, under Hegseth, to review role of women in ground combat units
The Army gathered extensive data on the impact of integrating women into combat arms back in between 2019 and 2023. During this period, the Army concluded there was no evidence of any degradation in unit readiness or effectiveness due to the presence of women.
